Training Day (October 2008) at the ‘Hole in One’

Twenty members of the Pastoral Care Team met at the ‘Hole in One’ for their latest training session.  Paula, the landlady, had offered us the function suite free of charge.  What a great venue for an excellent day’s work with plenty of fun.

After a welcoming cup of coffee we met together to have a new look at our initial training.  Adrienne led us in her usual bright and efficient way.  We then split into several working groups until lunch.  It was good to look in some depth at what we are doing, how we are doing it and why.

After a convivial lunch we re-grouped to gather together our morning’s work. We went away feeling somewhat refreshed in our training and having had a fruitful day with friends in a great setting.
