Every Second Wednesday of the Month @ 2:30pm in the Victory Hall

Mothers' Union is the largest women's organisation in the world with over 3.6.million members. Its aims and objects are to support marriage and family life.

The work of MU throughout the world is to help areas in need where there is poverty, poor nutrition, HIV/Aids etc. and supports workers to educate people to overcome their problems leading to a better way of life.

In the UK it has parenting groups, provides prison crèches and reaches out to the community in many different ways.

At St. Cuthbert's we have over 65 members and we meet every 2nd Wednesday in the month at 2.30pm in the Victory Hall when we have a short prayer service followed by a speaker then the usual welcome cup of tea and a friendly chat.

We have outings during the year including a theatre trip in January to see a ballet, a Spring Lunch in April, a Summer outing and a Christmas Lunch.

If you would like to come along to see us you will be most welcome. For further information please ring Mrs Margaret Fisher 01253 737310 or Mrs Jean Ponter (MU Secretary) 01253 734149.

We run a Mums & Toddlers group which meets every Wed. during term time at 9.45 to 11.30am. We have lots of toys, a safe carpeted area for babies, a craft table and short time of music and action songs.
